When is it out?
Pooch Protocol is in the final stretch. Android will come first via Google Play, with a Windows build to follow.
Does it need an account or internet?
No. There are no accounts and no online features, and the whole game plays offline. Save data stays on your device.
Are there ads?
Yes, from Google AdMob, set up for children: every ad is rated for all ages, none are personalised, and the game does not use the advertising ID. A short ad can play at the end of a run when you are online. Reward videos are always optional: watch one to double a run’s bones, try a locked pup or get a revive. With no connection, no ads play and the reward buttons stay hidden.
How do I unlock characters?
Characters unlock on your best bone count in a single run. If you keep playing, a lifetime total at three times the gate unlocks them too.
Why is level 20 always the same?
By design. Levels are generated from a fixed seed so that everyone plays the same course and scores are comparable.
